Invisilite "NEW" 3157 tail lamp bulbs for 2001 540i, but should fit huge assortment of vehicles both BMW and otherwise.  Also these bulbs have been know to fit turn signals, tail lamps, brake lamps amongst other lamps universally for many makes and models of vehicles. Never touched by human hands. These bulbs are really cool because they are silver in color and match the background of the inside of your  lamp housing until you use them, then they light up a bright beautiful orange. These bulbs come encased with a rubber glove for installation.. I currently have a pair of Invisilites in my tail lamps as well as a pair in my head lamps for the turn signals in my current Genesis Coupe now for over 3 years without a single bulb blown. EAS (European Auto Sport) uses only top of the line bulbs prior to completing their silver Invisilite process. Oh and I have 2 pair for sale!!!
