Iperformance Header Flange for 1998-2002 GM/Chevrolet 2200 OHV Engine.

3/8 inch thick mild steel header flange. Perfect for building your own header or turbo manifold. These are the same flanges used in the Iperformance headers.

About This Product

CAD computer designed.
Waterjet cut.
3/8 inch thick Mild Steel.
Exhaust ports measure 1.55 inches in diameter, and were intended to be used with 1 1/2 inch primary pipes, assembled by sliding the pipe into the flange.
This item has been wiped with a zinc-phosphate rust prevention solution, and should be grit blasted prior to welding to prevent odor and ensure good weld penetration.

Does this fit other cars or other engines?

We designed this flange specifically for use on the 1999-2002 Chevrolet Cavalier and Pontiac Sunfire with the 2.2 liter or 2200 OHV engine. We obtained a manifold from one of these vehicles for the pattern for our drawing. We do not have a cross reference list of other vehicles which use this same engine, please consult an expert on GM engines to confirm that this flange matches other applications.

The photo in this auction listing is a photo of the item and can be used for comparison to verify which engines this item fits.

This particular flange DOES NOT FIT 1990-1997 MODEL ENGINES. The head of this engine was redesigned for the 1998 model year, moving the exhaust ports down, and reducing the size of those exhaust ports.

Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo has announced an unusual plan for the Prancing Horse: to sell fewer cars in 2013 than the 7000 it delivered in 2012. Speaking in Maranello, di Montezemolo stated that 'this is a far-sighted decision to strengthen our brand equity, from what I learned from Enzo Ferrari… We must resist people who say the competition will benefit from us making fewer cars… When others penetrate our markets, we are happy to meet this challenge.' The redesigned 2010 Lexus RX 350 gets a sticker price of $37,625 for the front-drive model, and $39,025 for the all-wheel-drive model. The new RX goes on sale later this month. Lexus engineers have coaxed an additional 5 hp from the 3.5-liter V6, bringing the output to 275 hp.
