These heads are off a 1976 ironhead sportster with low miles. I cleaned the gasket surface to check for cracks and stripped holes which there are none. This came off a running motorcycle. Despite every green evangelist proclaiming that electric cars are the way to save the planet from imminent doom, UK car buyers obviously disagree. Despite a taxpayer bribe of £5000 to buy an over-priced electric car, car buyers have not exactly taken to the EV in droves.

Sat, 16 Feb 2013Ahead of a reveal of a concept version of the Toyota GT86 Convertible at the Geneva Motor Show, the soft-top GT86 has been spied Almost a year ago we learned that a Toyota GT86 Convertible was in the planning after Toyota’s chief engineer, Tetsuya Tada, revealed that the GT86 (and therefore the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ) were designed to be a convertible from the start. Shortly after that revelation, we saw the first glimpse of a future GT86 Convertible in the shape of the Scion FR-S Speedster at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, an officially sanctioned speedster version of the GT86 created by Iacona Design and Cartel Customs. Most recently, Toyota revealed that they are taking the the FT-86 Open Concept to next month’s Geneva Motor Show, a car that looks to preview an almost production-ready GT86 Convertible, which could arrive in production guise before the end of 2013.
Hennessey readies 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray package with 1,000 hp
Tue, 26 Feb 2013The 2014 Corvette Stingray made its world debut at the Detroit auto show less than two months ago, but Texas tuner John Hennessey is already working on upgrades. Hennessey Performance plans to offer upgrades for both the C7 coupe and the C7 convertible. Supercharged systems will bring output to 700 hp and higher-priced twin-turbo setups push power to anywhere from 800 hp-1,000 hp.
