"Pride of Kenosha" is an exact size limited edition print from the original watercolor painting by artist Michael Irvine. This auction is for print #290. If you have a 290 Cu. in. AMX or Javelin, you'll certainly want to bid on this print. It is from an edition of only 800 prints, and is signed and numbered by the artist. The print is truly beautiful, and is filled with the detail, vibrant color and reflections that the artist's work is known for. The image measures 24" x 15" and is printed on high-quality acid-free stock measuring 28" x 20". As a full line dealer for this artist, I purchase prints directly from the him. They are stored flat and have never been framed. It comes with a signed & numbered Certificate of Authenticity from the artist. See the last picture and see if you can find the letters AMX in the tire tracks.

"When you mention automotive manufacturing, many people immediately think of Detroit, Michigan. What you may not realize is that between 1902 and 1988, Kenosha, Wisconsin produced millions of cars and trucks- many of them built by American Motors Corporation. The third release in Michael's "Building Horsepower" Series, "Pride of Kenosha", pays tribute to the home of one of America's favorite muscle cars - the 1969, '70, and '71 AMC AMX. As the n sets on the rolling farm fields just outside the city limits, these powerful cars stop to fill up before hitting the open road."

This is one of many Irvine prints that I will be listing, so you may want to bookmark me and check back often. If you have any questions or want additional information, please call me at (513) 941-5310. The print will be sent by Insured Priority Mail wrapped and rolled in sturdy hardboard tube. Payment must be received by PayPal within 7 days of auction close.

NOTE: The images in this listing are low resolution and have a logo watermark to protect the copyright of the artwork. Your print will NOT have a watermark.

Morgan to reveal new 2+2 coupe in 2010

Mon, 14 Jun 2010

A classic car show seems like a fitting place to launch a new Morgan, and that’s exactly what visitors to this year’s Pebble Beach event will be treated to. The EvaGT is loosely based on the range-topping Aero Supersports, but has a fixed roof, steeply-raked windscreen and revised side window line, giving it a similar look to the limited-edition AeroMax. Morgan’s teaser pic suggests that the wings have been radically reshaped too.

BMW 1-series M Coupe (2011) official teaser video

Fri, 09 Jul 2010

This is the new BMW 1-series Coupe, the next car to come out of BMW’s famed M Division. Just ahead of the launch of the M3 GTS (a stripped-out, track-focussed M3 with an enlarged 4.4-litre V8), BMW has released this teaser video of its next M car, the 1-series M Coupe Nope, that name is reserved for BMW’s legendary supercar, but it should still be pretty tasty. We hear there’s a 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight six under the bonnet, producing somewhere around 350bhp, and an M Division-spec interior, while this video shows off the chunky bodykit with a deep front bumper and four exhausts.
