Porsche 918 Spyder: New specs and new photos

Thu, 16 May 2013

The Porsche 918 Spyder specification have been revealed Porsche has tried to keep weight in check on the 918 Spyder, but having a big, heavy electric hybrid setup on board hasn’t made that easy, and nor has making that setup 4WD. That first car was the Koenigsegg CC8 (a development of Christian’s original CC prototype) which featured bespoke everything – from chassis to suspension and brakes – but utilised a Ford 4.7 litre V8.

As all of you who watch Top Gear already know, Hammond would marry a Zonda tomorrow if he could. So you won’t be entirely amazed to discover that the video is an homage to the Zonda, and not exactly objective.
