Lamborghini Aventador
Tue, 15 Mar 2011A clear evolution of both the Murcielago and the Reventon, the Aventador dissapointed and wowed in equal measure at its unveiling. Showcasing Lamborghini's newfound love for carbon fiber as well as an exhaustive list of new technologies for their road cars – such as a pushrod suspension – the Aventador certainly has a supercar-style spec sheet. The V12 engine used in the Aventador is also all-new and when combined with the lightweight carbon monocoque chassis is claimed to provide blistering performance, albeit in an unrevolutionary body. Fri, 21 Mar 2014With an ensemble of acoustically harmonious supercars roaring, the scene looking fresh out “Need for Speed,” this annual gathering is simply amazing with all of the exotic rides preening in every color of the spectrum. The 2014 European Supercar Gathering took place on March 14 in Qatar and showcased some of the finest specimens from an array of brands. Naming all the cars worth naming would make us winded, but here is just a taste of what was spotted in the clip.
Diesel joins Porsche Panamera lineup
Mon, 02 May 2011Porsche has put forward some eye-catching fuel-economy figures for the Panamera diesel--although we may never see the car in the United States. Set to go on sale across Europe in August, the four-door is claimed to return a combined city/highway driving fuel economy of 36.2 mpg in standard guise under European testing procedures. When fitted with optional low-rolling-resistance tires, the fuel economy climbs to 37.3 mpg on the European test--a figure that gives the Panamera diesel a theoretical range of 800 miles on its 21-gallon fuel tank.
