All 1996 and later truck gas engines will utilize a new two piece aluminum/plastic intake manifold. With this new design and the elimination of the factor lifthooks, J-41427 is required to properly lift the engine from the vehicle. J-41427 consists of two lift brackets which bolt to the front and rear corners of the intake manifold.
These cost the dealer $380.00! You can buy them for a fraction of that cost!

Automakers try to stop increase in ethanol limit to 15 percent of gasoline
Mon, 11 Oct 2010Automakers are seeking to head off an EPA ruling that would allow gasoline to contain 15 percent ethanol, up from 10 percent now, and they've won some bipartisan congressional support. The two main automaker industry lobbies have argued that the U.S. Department of Energy has done insufficient testing to assure that gasoline containing up to 15 percent ethanol won't harm vehicles.
New options make Prius pricey

The 2010 Prius hybrid will offer options found on luxury cars: systems that automatically park the car in a parallel parking space and slow the vehicle when a crash is likely. But Toyota is aware of a new competitor--the 2010 Honda Insight, a hybrid that is a little smaller and expected to be less expensive than the Prius.
