This tool is applicable to the 3800 Series II Engine

These engines can be found in Chevrolet, Pontiac, Oldsmobile and Buick vehicles.

J 41512 is a valve guide seal installation tool which features a positive stop that bottoms out on the spring seat which will ensure that the seal does not bottom on top of the guide. Without the tool the seal could be tapped on too far which could result in seal damage.
