Volvo von Koenigsegg – the Vox Volvo P1800
Wed, 06 May 2009The Vox Volvo P1800 - a modern reworking of the original with a 550bhp V8 Vöcks latest creation – The Vox Volvo P1800 -is based on the iconic Volvo P1800, which those of a certain age will remember was driven by Roger Moore’s Saint back in the ’60s. The lightweight two-seater is powered by Vauxhall’s turbo 2.0-litre unit – lifted from the Astra VXR – and it’s priced at £29,495. Err, yes – we also feel the SC250’s looks might be a bit of a stumbling block to someone about to flash the best part of £30k on a track-based racer.
