GM Europe weeks from running out of cash

Speaking today (Tuesday 3 March), GM chief operating officer Fritz Henderson revealed that insolvency loomed, due to the plunge in European car sales and GM’s liquidity crisis in North America. He ruled out a swift cash injection from private investors, saying that no talks had taken place and that lengthy negotiations and due diligence would take too long.

Pricing for the 2013 Dodge Dart was released on Monday via a status update on the Chrysler Communications Facebook page. Below we've listed prices for five Dart trim levels, but so far, Dodge is keeping quiet about rumors of a high-performance SRT version: -- Dodge Dart SE: $16,790 -- Dodge Dart SXT: $18,790 -- Dodge Dart Rallye: $19,790 -- Dodge Dart Limited: $20,790 -- Dodge Dart R/T: $23,290 The Dodge Dart is expected to be in dealer showrooms in June, but you'll have to wait until the third quarter if you have your heart set on the R/T version. Saab sees another production hiccup

Saab, trying to recover from a production shutdown for most of April and May, hit another snag on Tuesday as the company said it had to halt production again because of a supply disruption. The latest issue is expected to be resolved on Wednesday, the company said. "We will start tomorrow again," Saab spokesman Eric Geers said on Tuesday.
