Even though Jay isn’t short of a few bob, he’s not going to be the wealthiest buyer of a P1 (by far), but his celebrity status has conferred on him something most P1 buyers won’t get – the chance to take to the Top Gear track at Dunsofold in the new P1 with McLaren’s Chris Goodwin (Chief Test Driver) riding shotgun. Prior to the run round Dunsfold, Jay gets a tour of the new P1 production centre (perhaps the cleanest car production centre in the UK) before being whisked off to Dunsfold by helicopter.

Lexus NX 200t F Sport first look

We got an early look at the Lexus NX 200t F Sport in production trim 10 days ahead of its world debut at the Beijing auto show April 20. The luxury compact crossover will also be on display at the New York auto show but only during the public days. The Lexus NX 200t is a slightly less racy looking version of the LF-NX Turbo concept shown at Tokyo.

GM dismisses marketing chief Joel Ewanick

UPDATED -- General Motors has dismissed global marketing chief Joel Ewanick two years after hiring him. "He failed to meet the expectations the company has of an employee," spokesman Greg Martin said Sunday, without elaborating. In a short statement, GM said Alan Batey, GM's vice president of U.S.
