See pics for more detail, have no idea if it works or not, Would be best for parts as some of the needles are tweaked some. As for the application, Id assume its for a European car and a small one at that. Perhaps Volvo, Peugeot, Fiat, Opel, Alfa Romeo, Citroen or something along those lines. There is a manufacture date of Oct 10 1963 so that would make it a 1964. It was made in France and is tiny. Measures about 8.5" wide by 5" tall

New Hyundai Test Centre at the Nurburgring revealed

Sun, 02 Jun 2013

Hyundai’s new test centre at the Nurburgring If anyone had said, just a few years ago, that Hyundai would develop a test centre at the Nurburgring to help shake-down their cars, they’d have been laughed at. But Hyundai – and Kia – have come so far in recent years that it makes absolute sense for them to develop a full-time testing facility at the Nurburgring to test their cars for the road, along with just about every other car maker of note. James May may object to the Nurburgring factor in the suspension set-ups of many road cars (and we do have some sympathy for his point of view), but the sometimes extreme nature of the Nurburgring’s surfaces – and its endless twists and turns, uphill and down – do offer car makers an easily accessible place to test cars in the (almost) real world.

KoenigSaab coming soon?

Fri, 29 May 2009

Koenigsegg are in the running to take over Saab Saab were given Swedish Government protection recently (similar to Chapter 11) to try and find a suitor or funding to operate independently. Of course they can’t do that completely, at least not in the short term, as they are so tied in to GM’s platforms on their current and soon to be released cars. But Saab has a strong – if quirky – history and, with the right backing, could stand alone as a niche maker of aesthetically individual cars.
