Up for sale is a rare Jaguar series 1 3.8 E type manifold water pipe. This is an original with only minor nicks and some corrosion to the end pieces that fit under the ribber water hose. Fully usable to restore an intake for the early cars. Some preliminary buffing was done to show that there are no cracks and minor nicks that elbow grease will eliminate.

Cuba removes new car purchase restrictions

Granma, the Communist Party’s newspaper of record in Cuba, said Wednesday that the Council of Ministers approved regulations that “eliminate existing mechanisms of approval for the purchase of motor vehicles from the state.” That means the sale of new and used cars will be allowed to the public. Up until now, Cubans could buy and sell vehicles to each other, but they had to request permission from the government to purchase a new vehicle -- the main reason for the island's unique automotive landscape. The new laws will be enacted gradually, according to Granma, with a set minimum price.

Auction of Jay Leno tractor to benefit veterans

Bidders at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., this week have a chance to buy a vehicle being retired from entertainer Jay Leno's garage and support a charity that serves military families. The vehicle is a New Holland Boomer tractor. For the past five years, the staff at Leno's garage has used the "Lil Tug" to move the TV host's large collection of classic and unique cars around the facility.
