Good used Jaguar Base for Air Cleaner for pancake-type filter element. No p/n on this, but note that it has a 3-1/16" OD round intake hole (not like the ellipsoid Mk II/MkIX part); the filter element flange has a 8-1/16 in. ID - may be for a 2.4L. I’ve had to concede that maybe it’s not entirely realistic to want a petrol V8 in every car I drive, and there are now some very convincing diesel lumps around. They don’t sing like a good petrol lump, but the big wodge of torque most have really does go a very long way to compensate.
