Here is a Jaguar E-Type Series One or Two "Refinished" Wood Steering Wheel. "All ORIGINAL Wood". Out of a 1967 XKE. Refinished by a professional Wood Worker and Jaguar Enthusiast. The metal spokes have a polished satin finish, not an overpolished chrome appearance (if you prefer a chrome look just polish more with a tube of semichrome while watching your favorite movie). Very beautiful. 8 hours labor in restoration time starting with a very good wheel. Horn Push Assy not included. Ready for show or go! Remembered affectionately by those old enough to remember it first time round (which I actually don’t!) and associated in the minds of car nuts with Sir Stirling Moss and his exploits in the Mille Miglia (it seems every classic Gullwing that comes on the market is somehow miraculously ‘Driven by Stirling Moss’), it is the epitome of ‘Cool Car’. The huge appeal of the classic Gullwing is also responsible for the direction of the new Mercedes SLS, which pays huge homage to the design of the original.
College Exhibition: Royal College of Art Show 2007

Held for the first time in a large pavilion tent in Kensington Gardens, directly opposite the main Royal College of Art building, 'The Great Exhibition' commemorates the 150th birthday of the South Kensington cultural and educational institutions. Car Design News caught up with a few of the 18 Vehicle Design graduates at a private viewing on June 14th.
