Jaguar E-Type - Series 1, 1.5, & 2 - LH Sill Forward Bulkhead Closing Panel - BD28253 This is one LH Sill Bulkhead Closing Panel that is spot-welded to the outer edge of the front bulkhead, directly behind the battery - Jaguar Part # BD28253. It fits all short-wheelbase Series 1, 1.5, and 2 cars, including Coupes (FHC) and Roadsters (OTS). It does NOT fit 2+2's, or long-wheelbase cars. It is formed from 20-gauge steel and patterned after the original piece. It is guaranteed to be correct in every dimension, including the 20-gauge thickness, curvature, and hole size, shape, and placement. The version of this panel from other suppliers is formed incorrectly! This is a panel that we are only just now offering, because it has taken us this long to get the pattern right! The curvature of the outer edge is critical, and on other supplier's version of this panel, it is located wrong and the whole panel is too wide. This either results in one of two nightmares - you put the outer sills on first, and then find that this panel is too large and cannot be fitted, or worse, you put this panel on first, and then you're in BIG TROUBLE when you go to put the outer sill on! Illustrating that environmental responsibility needn't come at the expense of design, power or desire, three students created their individual vision of a "Green Steel" concept car, resulting in the Lincoln Continental, Mazda Hyoryu and Mitsubishi Synthesis. Considering the current energy and environmental global crisis, the students involved in this project took the opportunity to re-think mobility for the year 2040 by developing innovative adaptations for automobiles and proposing a more humanistic approach to transportation. Mitsubishi Synthesis Dave Owsen This automated 'travelling entertainment center of the future' bridges the gap between public and personal transportation. Utilizing the city traffic tier of the transportation network for navigation, the vehicle also creates a brand media experience for young urban commuters, combining elements of transportation and entertainment.
