Some bling for the engine. Nice set of used cam covers that just came off a 1968 E type. These covers fit on all E type 6 cylinder engines. Most likely other Jaguar 6 cylinder engines too. Please do yr own research before buying. Oil cap not included
Brand:Genuine OEM Jaguar Surface Finish:POLISHED Placement on Vehicle:Left, Right Country/Region of Manufacture:United Kingdom

these cam/valve covers were on a 1968 E type for 15 years just for dressing up the 4.2 L XK engine as the owner did not care for the original black covers that came on from the factory. Look very closely at the exhaust side cover (same one you put oil into the engine) and you will notice what appears to be a hairline crack associated with #1 cylinder, looking at the outside, looks to be some kind of epoxy repair that the owner did not dick with as it did not leak while installed...that's 15 years of not leaking where the owner just made sure of torqueing all holding nuts to 10-12 ft lbs of torque. Any ?'s call Mike...619.507.7731

Volvo creates Inflatable Child Seat

Mon, 14 Apr 2014

Volvo is a brand famously associated with safety, so let’s hope its latest effort doesn’t turn out to be a load of hot air: the Swedish brand has come up with a concept for an inflatable children’s car seat. Called the Volvo Inflatable Child Seat Concept, this does exactly what it says on the tin – it’s a child seat that instead of being made of rigid material can be deflated and folded away for easy carriage when not required. On Bing: see pictures of the Volvo Inflatable Child Seat Concept Find out how much a used Volvo costs on Auto Trader Noting that “children’s car seats are historically bulky, hard to move and tedious to mount,” Volvo says its new rear-facing inflatable alternative weighs just 5kg – half the weight of an equivalent conventional model.

Toyota Prius 10th Anniversary special edition (2010)

Tue, 26 Oct 2010

The Toyota Prius might be more normally associated with sandal-toting eco saviours, but to mark its tenth birthday Toyota is launching a blinged-up Prius 10th Anniversary special edition with a bad-boy bodykit and blacked-out windows. Yes, this is one of the stranger creations of the year. The Prius 10th Anniversary special edition marks a big shift for normally cautious Toyota, but remember this is just a UK edition marking a decade of British sales.
