NEW ALUMINUM GEAR SHIFT KNOB
This is a new UNIVERSAL gear shift knob with a beautiful acrylic type JAGUAR LOGO. It comes with three adaptor sleaves, allen wrench and allen screws for easy installation. It measures approx 2 1/2" x 2". The top 1/2" is satin finish, the next 3/4" is highly polished and the bottom is satin. It is heavy high quanlity shift knob. Volkswagen BlueMotion at Frankfurt
Thu, 03 Sep 2009The new VW BlueMotion versions of the Polo, Golf & Passat will be at Frankfurt this month The most efficient of the BlueMotion models is – hardly surprising – the new Polo Bluemotion. The Polo emits just 87g/km CO2 and manages to travel at least 870 miles on a tank of juice., averaging as it does 85.6 mpg. The new 1.2 litre three pot common rail diesel in the Polo produces 74bhp which is driven through a fibe speed manual ‘box and features stop-start and longer gearing.
Exclusive: Derek Jenkins to become Design Director at Mazda
Fri, 27 Mar 2009Derek Jenkins, former chief designer at the Volkswagen Group design studio in Santa Monica, will become the new Director of Design at Mazda's R&D Design Center in Irvine, CA. Jenkins, who resigned from Volkswagen on March 17th, will be filling the position previously held by Franz von Holzhausen, who left Mazda in August last year to become Design Director at Tesla Motors. "I'm excited to take on something new," Jenkins told CDN.
RCA students to reinterpret classic cars for Salon Privé

This year the event has something that really piques our interest – a design contest, judged by some of the world's top designers. Ten Students from the nearby Royal College of Art have been tasked with reinterpreting a previous cars entered into the show for a competition named Concours of the Future.
