BMW X4 confirmed – one more time
Thu, 22 Sep 2011It was always going to be on the cards after the unexpected success of the X6, but the birth of the BMW X4 – a coupé version of the new X3 – has been the subject of endless rumours, almost since the X6 started to sell in unexpected numbers. We reported as far back as April 2010 that BMW were close to deciding an X4 was a no brainer; after all, with a lot of the world ‘downsizing’ their transport, a smaller X6 should be a seller. Kaveh Kamooneh was at Chamblee Middle School where his son was playing tennis. Kamooneh saw the open outlet and figured he’d grab a few electrons while he watched the game.
Mercedes GLK 'will come in right hand drive'

CAR Online has spoken to a senior engineer on the programme and has the inside line on Merc's junior 4x4 - a shrunken, and rather angular, mini M-class. It would be the first right-hooker M-B passenger car with 4-Matic, paving the way for future 4WD versions of the C-class and the next E-class.
