This ad is for  is a quality copy of a Jaguar MK2 restoration guide book, published by Practical Classics and Car restorer, around 1990. This English  magazine is now out of business, and I believe  the book is out of print.It is copied from the original I personally used as a guide. (Pictures show my original; I will send you a copy; punched for a 3 ring binder). It is absolutely the best guide I have seen,to restore a MKII. Often someone buys a MK2, or similar saloon, sends it out to a paint shop spends several thousand dollars to discover they had no idea what they were doing; then spends Many thousands more for an Expert to re- restore it correctly.This book will prevent that,and is designed for the do it yourself or professional restorer.It covers all mechanical operations;engine, brakes, front and rear suspensions, as well as metalwork. GM technology chief Tom Stephens to retire

Tom Stephens, GM's vice chairman, chief technology officer and former head of global product operations, will retire on April 1 after a 43-year career with the automaker. His successor will be named later, GM said Sunday. Stephens, 63, has served as GM's chief technology officer--a new position--since Feb.

Kia has revealed the Sportage which will debut at Geneva It’s lagging a bit behind its sibling from Hyundai, but Kia’s version of the ix35 – The Kia Sportage – has now been revealed and will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month. As with the Hyundai ix35, the Kia Sportage is leaps and bounds on from the old car. Its design language, which comes from the guidance of  former Audi designer Peter Schreyer, is as competent and as effective as anything from Europe or Japan.
