Here I have a pair of reclining front seats that were removed from a 1965 Jaguar S-Type parts car. The frames are very nice and structurally sound. No damage. No cracks, splits, dents or rust damage. I removed the skins and sold them with the spring cushions. These are the very hard to find if not rare reclining seats that were an option.  Please see the photo's for detail. If you are from overseas and win this auction, you will need to arrange your own shipping agent or service. If someone from the US mainland wins, I could ship with Greyhound parcel service to save money on shipping costs. I can also ship anyway you would like as long as you pay for the service that will ship these frames. I have selected Fed Ex ground as a shipping option.

Here is your chance to get the seats you need for your classic car needs.

CAR interviews Christian von Koenigsegg on his potential takeover of Saab (2009)

Tue, 27 Oct 2009

We meet Christian von Koenigsegg in Ängelholm in the old flying squadron offices of Koenigsegg Automotive's offices. A new supercar rolls out of the old Jas hangar every fortnight on average, each built by hand. The rolls of carbonfibre lying around serve as a reminder that life is about to become very different.

Subaru Forester (2009): first official pictures

Thu, 27 Dec 2007

By Phil McNamara First Official Pictures 27 December 2007 14:50 This is Subaru's all-new Forester estate, set to be unveiled at January's Detroit motor show. Devoted fans won't be disappointed, because the 2009 model year Forester dogmatically sticks to the Forester formula: a jacked up, four-wheel drive wagon, but with a newish look, more refinement and improved safety levels, says Subaru. Today's boxy, oldschool Volvo-look makes way for a boxy, newschool Mitsubishi Outlander-look. The lamps, grille and glasshouse are slightly more expressive than on the current car, but Subaru isn't breaking any new ground for car design. Good job, because last time that happened, the Tribeca MPV was inflicted on the world.

Think a sports car makes you more attractive? Think again

Tue, 15 Oct 2013

It’s a favourite stereotype: a man driving a flashy sports car is more attractive to women – or at least, so he might think. Now a survey by Motors.co.uk suggests that exactly the opposite could be true. While the same research reckons 48% of men subscribe to the stereotyped view, in actual fact women are more likely to find a man driving an eco car more alluring.
