You are bidding on a new replacement headliner for a Jaguar XJ6 4 door sedan. This was purchased for my 1983 Jaguar XJ6 Series 3 but never installed. I saw some ads that say the color is rose beige, but it looks grey to me and that is how it is listed on the invoice I have. It is a foam backed cloth that must be glued to your original headliner shell. This kit comes from BAS Ltd Jaguar Trim Specialists. They have offices in Blaine, Washington and North Vancouver, B.C. Canada. As you can see from the photos, I removed it from the shipping carton to take the photos and folded back a corner to give a better view of the material. It is my understanding that there is enough material to do the entire headliner including a sun roof for a 4 door sedan. It may be able to be used on other Jaguar types and years, but it was specifically purchased for a black XJ6.

Driven: BMW Z4

Mon, 01 Jun 2009

Loved as it may be by its loyal fanbase, the outgoing Z4 was always something of a mixed bag in terms of design. While the car's classic long-bonnet, cab-back profile and short overhangs should have pleased the eye, the BMW's sheer frontal mass made its proportions seem out of balance. The application of the company's then-new ‘flame surfacing' form language also generated a visual business that seemed out of place on something as conceptually simple as a roadster.

The Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este is more than a celebration of classic automotive design. It's also a great opportunity to view cutting-edge concept vehicles. This year's event saw the debut of the BMW Zagato coupe concept, and the Alfa Romeo 4C concept took home the concours' coveted “Design Award for Concept Cars & Prototypes.” You'd never know it based on the official coverage (or lack thereof), but Aston Martin also unveiled a concept at the concours.

Now it’s the turn of Hyundai to take a swipe at GM’s marketing

Hyundai's 2012 Super Bowl Advert (video below) With the news that General Motors are to pull out of Super Bowl advertising Hyundai steps up to tell GM they’re wrong. It’s really not been GM’s week. Last week they came out and told the world that ads on Facebook aren’t worth the advertising cost and that they were pulling their spend from the (now) newly floated social media site.
