New hand crafted gear knob made from WALNUT WOOD with an original GOLDEN custom 3D GROWLER metal badge ( 1" diameter ) , all  inlaid flush under a high gloss / crystal glass finish, giving it a "smooth as silk" touch.

Unlike the OE modern Jaguar factory finish that  eventually cracks / peals /  flakes and goes that milky color, the finish l use on my gear knobs is an industrial product not for sale or use by the general public,  has been tested and proven to withstand our  Canadian arctic winters and hot humid summers.
" Does not go milky / flake / peal  or crack "
Also this durable finish is scratch proof which could be caused by hand jewelry.

This gear knob has an 8MM threading and will fit automatic Jaguar from 1988 to Present.
" A classy upgrade for your Jaguar "

PS. I am a woodturning artist and Master craftsman, NOT a photographer. These pictures do not do justice to my work.

Revealed: tech secrets of new 2014 BMW M3 and M4 Coupe

Wed, 25 Sep 2013

BMW has spent the past four years developing the new M4 Coupe and newly-announced M3 saloon from scratch – all with the intention of making its road-racer range more focused, more able and more relevant to modern motorists. They are faster, sharper and more dynamic, promises the firm, but also greener, smarter and more flexible than ever. The result, believe the engines, is a duo that’s without rival on the market – no other four-seat coupe or five-seat saloon offers this much high performance sports car ability for the money.

Concept Car of the Week: Dodge Deora (1967)

Fri, 02 May 2014

Half concept car, half custom but all awesome, the Dodge Deora was designed by former GM designer Harry Bentley Bradley for the famous car customizers the Alexander brothers who wanted to build a radical custom truck using one of the Big Three's new cabover mini-pickups. They relied on Bradley's futuristic drawings to seduce Chrysler who eventually agreed to provide a stripped down A100 truck for them to customize although the final design shares almost nothing with the original donor car. The cabin was radically chopped and integrated into the rest of the body and – after its suspension was also lowered – the overall height of the Deora was reduced by a whopping 380mm.
