Listed as not working unit but I think it will work fine! There is no noticeable shorting, burnt smell, or electrical staining in the unit. At best, it might just need a few adjustments and contact cleaning as these old mechanical units did...

This is a nice used piece perfect for your vintage restoration for early XK 140/150 Jags around late '56 and newer. This piece could also be correct for other models based on production date 10/1956 and part #37189H.

The aluminum cover is in very nice condition and appears to originally be a wrinkle like semi-gloss black finish. I'm not sure if it should be painted or polished. As you can see in the pictures the internals are in as new condition!  

Also included are the original mounting bolts (please see picture and bolt head markings). These are what I believe to be correct original parts...what you see is what you get!

GM to import more Chevy Spark minicars from Korea

General Motors is increasing imports of Chevrolet Spark minicars for sale in the United States following a stronger-than-expected launch here. GM recently upped its order for Sparks from the Korea plant that produces the car, Cristi Landy, marketing director for Chevrolet small cars, told Automotive News. “We've asked for more already,” Landy said Wednesday.

Vintage-photograph auction at Lime Rock to benefit teen-driver training

Photographs of racing legends from yesteryear will help the young drivers of tomorrow through an auction over Labor Day weekend at Lime Rock. Autographed vintage photos of famous drivers will be sold to benefit a charity called Survive the Drive, which educates and trains high-school drivers in the Northeast. The program helped more than 10,000 students in the 2008-09 school year.
