Jaguar XK120, XK140 and XK150 Factory Service and Parts Manual for 1948 - 1961 Models (Used)

This CD-ROM is part of the series originally marketed by the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust.  We purchased a large number of them from a Jaguar dealer and they were used very little in our shop before we closed our business.  They are now out of production and the remaining stock is being sold in the USA by Jaguar dealers for about $25.00.  The manual is divided into two basic sections for parts and service.  Each section is further separated into six parts manuals and three service manuals for the following models:  XK120, XK120 DHC, XK120 FHC, XK140, XK150, and XK150S.  All information presented is exactly the same as that provided in the official printed manuals, and is displayed in .PDF files using the included Adobe Reader software.  It opens automatically under Windows XP and earlier versions, and operates under Windows 7 and 8 through an executable file in Windows Explorer.

Mercedes-Benz has released pictures of their F600 Hygenius, designed in their advanced studio in Yokohama. It is the latest in a series of research vehicles by DaimlerChrysler that encase their latest technologies: appropriately, the fuel cell is the focus this time. The car is proportionally similar to the B-Class, with gawky graphics blending windows with headlamp lenses.

Londoners 'most likely to fail' driving test

Mon, 21 Jul 2014

LEARNERS gearing up to take their first driving test are twice as likely to pass in Scotland as those in London, according to analysis of driving test results by a car insurance company. Its analysis reveals that London has the test centres with the four lowest pass rates in the country for first time test-takers. Only 31% of learner drivers in Belvedere passing the first time, while Wanstead (32%), Barking (32%) and Wood Green (33%) were the other lowest scoring centres in the capital, all with first time pass rates significantly below the national average (48%), the study by Privilege Car Insurance found.

Red Bull do doughnuts on the Burj Al Arab Helipad to celebrate F1 title (video)

Fri, 01 Nov 2013

David Coulthard gives the thumbs up whilst doing doughnuts Sebastian Vettel may be cool, collected and composed behind the wheel of his Red Bull F1, but even an in-control German needs to let off steam when he’s just taken his fourth F1 drivers title in a row. So at last week’s Indian Grand Prix, Seb celebrated his title win by producing a series of doughnuts in his car on the finish line, much to the annoyance of FIA officials who fined him €25k for his celebrations. But the latest doughnuts by an F1 team won’t have the FIA up in arms (probably) even if the stunt Red Bull have pulled to mark their latest achievements will give anyone who’s afraid of heights the heebie-jeebies.
