Pair of used cam covers from and XK140 head.  Part numbers are C7185 and C7186 and appear to be sand cast.  I believe these are also for the later XK120 heads also.  They are only for mechanical tachometer drive.  Not electric tachometer. They appear in great shape, but very dirty.  There  are scratches and scrapes and some minor pitting, but otherwise OK.  I do not see any visable cracks.  Should clean up and polish very nicely.  I do see that the stud holes on the inside of the exhaust side are recessed.  The intake side is not.  Not sure if these are from the same motor but they are the right numbers for a matched pair.  Please ask questions before bidding.

BMW X4 Leaks

Thu, 04 Apr 2013

We have the first official photos of the BMW X4 SUV – the ‘Lifestyle’ version of the X3 – which we expect to debut at the Shanghai Motor Show this month. We have the first leaked images of the X4 that show a BMW X3 with the same sort of treatment as the X5 got to turn it in to the X6, and create what BMW like to call an SAC – a Sports Activity Coupe. Apart from the changes to the body – and less room in the back – you can expect the X4 to offer much the same under the skin as the X3 – albeit at a premium price – which will mean – for the UK at least – will mean everything from an X4 xDrive 18d SE through to an X4 xDrive 35d M Sport.

Thu, 23 Apr 2009

A common rite of passage is the cross-country road trip, the quintessential way for young Americans to get in touch with themselves and their country before the worries and responsibilities of life come calling. But a 59-year-old California man is blitzing the United States for a different reason: charity. Dave Schaub, the founder of a Bay Area meat market, is driving 9,800 miles in nine days--or 216 hours, during which he

Saab's convertible turns 25

Mon, 06 Jun 2011

Another day, another anniversary. This time, it is the Saab convertible donning the proverbial party hat and counting the candles as it celebrates its 25th anniversary. With Saab's well publicized financial difficulties dominating headlines of late, we saw it fit to look back on happier times for the Trollhättan-based brand.
