JAGUAR XKE SHELLEY bottle jack.

Product Code: C17822

An original Shlley Bottle Jack that has been refurbished & fitted with a new 3 tier spline.
This jack has been repaired and painted and is now 99.9% correct for an early 3.8 xke.

Whilst the paint job is not perfect the mechanism is, the tiered splines are all new and this Jack does not come apart when held upside down like many do that have been messed with!

The collection belongs to Michael Banfield, who has amassed a huge collection covering the history of the car in the UK. Among the earliest cars for sale are a 1904 Mors Roi de Belges, which is in perfect working order, ready to be used and is estimated to make £500,000.

After another painful year of sales for Lotus in the UK – down 58% on 2011 - Norfolk's beleagured sports car brand has kicked off the New Year with the grand unveiling of its new flagship Malaysian showroom, and the thumbs-up from senior Proton company suits that Lotus isn't on its last legs. The announcement comes in the same week Lotus’s sales figures were released for 2012. Showing a substantial 58% decrease in sales and selling just 137 vehicles, Lotus Cars was the worst performer in the UK with a woeful 0.01% share of the market.
