SATISFACTION Air Intake System includes not only usual filter and pipe, it has a carbon fiber chamber and extremely lightweight filter covered with a carbon fiber shield.

Product description:

The stock intake system tube is made of pleated soft rubber so switching to a bigger filter alone is not enough as sudden intake of high volume of air makes the tube stretch, while bellows resist the air flow making it hard for the air to flow freely. However, replacing your filter along with aluminum pipe reduces air resistance and this way stabilized air is delivered to your engine. Conical filter provides increased amount of fresh air which creates ear pleasing suction noise and gives a noticeable boost to your throttle response and torque.

The uniqueness of this air intake is in the carbon fiber chamber. Spirally grooved interior of the carbon chamber acts as a surge tank - air is stored inside the chamber when the accelerator is off but as soon as you press down on the pedal the engine is instantly supplied with high density swirls of air.

At low-speed zone acceleration is effortless so there is no need to ram the accelerator uselessly and it improves fuel economy as well.

If filter is exposed inside the engine room, a high volume of hot air that gets taken into the engine room makes your car vulnerable to overheating when driving long distances. However, this filter has carbon fiber heat shield which reduces hot air intake, protects the engine room from hot air and dust, and keeps the filter clean and longer lasting.

Filter is made of lightweight and durable nonwoven fabric and has strong galvanised steel mesh with Epoxy coating which keeps filter in shape and protects from rust. Deep pleats and precision weaving technology increases filter area by 20%. This filter can be reused after cleaning it so it is highly economical.

Hose couplers are made of silicone.

Thanks to our contacts in the automotive design community, we've become aware that Frank Stephenson, who until recently was Director of Design at Alfa Romeo, will be taking on a new role as Design Director at McLaren. "McLaren is pleased to confirm that Frank Stephenson will shortly join as Design Director," a company spokesperson told CDN, but would not reveal additional details. Stephenson was not prepared to comment.
