Installation:

  • Remove the 2 screws and pull the front and rear side of the fog light apart.

  • Cut a hole in your bumper.  Make sure you use the front of the fog light as a guild and draw a line around it.  Cut it around 3cm smaller then the line you draw so the other case over lap.

  • Cut the reinforcement foam to make the fog light fits.

  • Screw the fog light together.  The front of the fog light goes in front of the bumper and the rear goes behind the bumper.  Once it's screw together it should hold the fog light in place.

  • Buy some wires (speaker wire) and run it from the fog light to the reverse light or brake light.

Drivers' 'huge petrol tax burden'

BRITISH DRIVERS are still facing a huge petrol and diesel tax burden despite three years of fuel duty freezes, according to the RAC Foundation. The UK has the highest rate of diesel tax in Europe while only Sweden imposes a higher petrol tax duty than the UK, the foundation said. Its figures showed that tax accounts for 59% of the price of diesel in the UK, with Sweden (56%) second and Italy (55%) third.

Land Rover has released pictures of the new Freelander (LR2), due to be launched at the British Motor Show in July. Harder edged than its predecessor, the chiselled exterior has simpler surfaces that update the same overall styling theme. The profile of the new car is more dynamic, borrowing cues from Range Rover Sport, though the stepped roofline has been diluted.

Here’s Audi’s S3 Sportback, the five-door version of the 296bhp Quattro hot hatch unveiled last year. The S3 Sportback takes 5sec flat to accelerate from 0 to 62mph, that’s one-tenth of a second quicker than Audi’s official figure for its three-door stablemate. That’s because the initial 5.1sec S3 time was only an estimate, and Audi’s subsequent tests have shown the three-door S3 actually dipping below five seconds in the 0-62mph sprint.
