JDM Honda Integra Honda Access Oil/Fluid Check Monitor

This auction is for a Honda Access option oil check monitor removed from a 2000 JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) Honda Integra (DB/DC Series--94-01 model).  I've seen these a few times but I am not exactly sure how it actually works.  I believe the indicator lights illuminated when it is time to either change the oil, oil filter or ATF.  There is only one sensor wiring going into the unit.  I DO know where that wire connects to, but I am unsure what type of signal it is receiving.  It could be a speed sensor which tells the unit how many miles the vehicle has driven since the last reset, but I honestly don't know for sure.

The mounting bracket slides off from the main unit so that it can be attached to the lower panel of the drivers side dash:

The unit has indicators for the engine oil filter, engine oil and automatic transmission fluid (ATF):

The complete harness is intact and included.  The brown plugs are inserted into the option item slots found on the under-dash fuse box/junction block.  They are numbered, #5 and #1.  The female plugs taped back are extension sockets for other OEM option items which need to use the same option item slots.  There is a ground spade and the sensor wire with splice clip attached.

The following are pics of the unit, prior to removal.  These will help with the install.

This shows where the unit was actually installed/attached:

This shows what wire the splice clip sensor wire is attached to.  It clips onto the blue/white wire.  The coupler is upside-down in this pic, so when the coupler is actually inserted where it should be on the junction block, the blue/white wire would be found on the far right corner of the upper edge, as you're looking at it.

This shows where the gray coupler can be found (it goes into the emply slot at the top of the picture, to the right of the blue connector):

First Sight: Divine DS concept

Fri, 05 Sep 2014

To mark 100 days since the announcement that DS was to become a brand of its own, separate from Citroën, it has created the Divine DS concept – a self-styled manifesto for the new marque. We traveled to Citroën's DS' design center on the southern outskirts of Paris to be amongst the first to see this statement of intent and speak to the people behind its creation. "This concept car is the very essence of what DS is and what it will be," declares Yves Bonnefont, the CEO of the DS brand.

Saab 'developing diesel hybrids' to rival PSA's

Mon, 01 Nov 2010

Saab has been caught testing a 9-3 with a diesel hybrid engine, according to press reports in Sweden. It seems that France's PSA won't have the diesel-hybrid market all to itself. A reporter from Automobil magazine spotted a 9-3 prototype refuelling at a petrol station in Trollhattan as he returned a test car to the factory.
