Project Car Hell: BMW-powered Opel Olympia vs. Aston-equipped Singer Nine
Fri, 14 Oct 2011Editor's note: When you can't fit your newly acquired basket-case Jeep FC150 in the garage because you have an Autocar Sussita and a 1928 Studebaker President chassis buried beneath crates of Subaru 360 parts, you're in Project Car Hell. And be sure to check back for fresh installments of Project Car Hell every week.
£54k insurance fraud foiled by black box
Thu, 01 May 2014A fraudulent £54,000 insurance claim following a crash involving a car and a lorry has been found bogus thanks to a black box device fitted to the car. Three passengers in the lorry claimed for personal injury damages after it was shunted at low speed by a Vauxhall Astra. However, the Astra was fitted with a telematics device that, when examined, revealed that due to the size and weight of the vehicles and the speed of the Astra, the claimed injuries were implausible.
Lambo personalisation
Fri, 11 Jan 2008By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 11 January 2008 15:35 Lamborghini will expand its Ad Personam personalization range at the Detroit Motor Show. The Gallardo Spyder (centre) is painted in Marrone Apus, a colour Lambo describes as ‘halfway between brown and black’, but there is a golden reflection due to a special pigment in the paint.
