    TSURIKAWA / TRAIN HANDLE

Stolen in trains by our local young gangsters, also known as bosozokus, the tsurikawas were originally attached inside cars so passengers could slide their wrist inside the ring and safely hang their body outside the window.
This traditional, round design can be seen on most Japanese trains, subways and buses. This is also local bosozokus, vintage lovers and drifters’ first choice!
They quickly became the symbol of a reckless youth and bosozokus started to attach them outside heavily modified bikes and cars to show rebellion and disrespect to authority.
Nowadays, hardcore Japanese car enthusiasts are still flaunting them to express their freedom.

    ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Brand new traditional, WHITE Tsurikawa round type (white ring and white strap) as seen on most Japanese trains, subways and buses.
The ring is in hard PVC, the fastener is in steel and the strap is made of nylon-reinforced plastic. Super strong!

  • Color: White ring and white strap (as shown in photos)

  • Ring diameter: 4.1"- 10.5cm

  • Stap lenght: 6.3"- 16cm

  • WAKABA STICKER

The Wakaba mark  (also know as shoshinsha mark) was introduced in 1972 for Japanese young drivers to display on their car after they obtain their driver's license. Nowadays, this "beginner mark" is  commonly use by JDM enthousiats to show their passion for Japanese car culture.
