This is for a brand new set of JE 314646 pistons! They are brand new, unused, never mocked up. Only opened for visual inspection and pictures. Why am I selling? My proposed engine builder told me that my engine block was good to go & true at stock 3.552 bore. It wasn't. It'll require at least .010" over pistons. He is obviously no longer going to build my engine! So, now I am stuck selling these at a loss. Over $1,300 invested! These are great pistons for any boosted 4.6 4V Modular stroker build, and will handle a lot of power! Here are the specs!
3.552" bore For 3.750" stroke & 5.850" rod 1.200" compression height -10.6cc 1.2 x 1.5 x 3.0 ring pack Upgraded 3208 rings Upgraded 866-2250-23-93C pins with .230" wall Thermal Barrier dome coating Tuff Skirt coating Oil drain backs drilled All of these listed specifications are true, right off of the label on the box & the build sheet, however it is up to you to verify that they will work for your engine combination. Please put in your due diligence. You will need to have a 5.850" rod and 3.750" stroker crank, which are easily the most common sizes available as far as stroker cranks/rods go for these engines. Nothing tricky about it, I only repeat it because I've had several people ask me if they'll work with a stock stroke crank, even when it's stated that it's for a 3.750" stroke. I can't make this clear enough. The picture is of an actual piston from the set, not a random stock photo. You are receiving the set of 8 pistons, the complete set of rings, complete set of wrist pins, complete set of locks. Local pickup is more than welcome! You are also more than welcome to inspect all pistons before you pay. My goal is simply to be one hundred percent sure you are happy with them! |

French government vows Renault reform after meeting with Ghosn
Fri, 18 Mar 2011The French government will see to it that the individuals responsible for the now debunked Renault SA espionage affair are dealt with, the Finance and Industry ministers said in a statement. "The ministers underscored that they will pay close attention to organizational reform and individual responsibility (at Renault) based on the result of the audit," Finance minister Christine Lagarde and Industry Minister Eric Besson said in a joint statement after meeting with Renault CEO Carlos Ghosn on Thursday. The French state, which owns 15 percent of Renault, has called for a thorough investigation into discredited claims that three Renault executives were spying on the carmaker, possibly for a foreign government.
Nissan shakes off the rust at 24 Hours of Le Mans test
