JEEP CHEROKEE & WRANGLER 1987-1995 4.0L 19 lb DESIGN III FUEL INJECTORS 87-95

Genuine set of 6 Bosch Design III 19lb/hr 19 lb 19lb/hr fuel injectors (top feed injector, 204cc/min flow rate, high-impedance) specifically listed for the Jeep Cherokee, Wrangler and Comanche 4.0L engine. These injectors have the four-hole spray disk fuel delivery system in comparison to the single pintle of the stock OEM injectors that the factory installed for a much more efficient fuel-atomization. These are the desirable upgraded Design III injectors which have a plastic body that stays cool and doesn't heat up like the metal body of the Design II injectors and increase the temperature of your fuel.  This results in more horsepower, better throttle response and better fuel economy.  Anywhere between 1 and 4 mpg gains is common.

All injectors have been tested for electrical resistance and load, cleaned in a mineral spirits bath, media-blasted to remove any rust and old paint, ultrasonically reverse flow cleaned, tested for flow rate, and rebuilt with new filters, pintle caps and o-rings. These are a direct drop-in, no modifications to fuel rail or wiring harness needed. Each injector has a lifetime, 100% satisfaction guarantee, with free replacement.

Fitment:

Jeep Cherokee XJ 4.0L 1987-1995

Jeep Wrangler YJ 4.0L 1991-1995

Jeep Wagoneer XJ 4.0L 1987-1990

Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ 4.0L 1993-1995

Jeep Comanche MJ 4.0L 1987-1992

Depending on inventory we may or may not ship injectors that have the fuel rail clip cutouts.  The fuel rail clips are an unnecessary redundancy that Jeep designed to secure the injectors to the fuel rail.  They are not necessary as the injectors are locked into the rail by the rail being bolted down to the intake manifold.

Tue, 10 May 2011

When most people see dandelions, they go for the weed killer. Ford goes for the fertilizer. The dandelion is a sustainable material being looked at for its use in cars--specifically, the rubberlike substance that the Russian breed of the plant secretes.

U.S. unveils blueprint to tackle driver distraction

Thu, 07 Jun 2012

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said Thursday the agency isn't looking at new regulations to address distracted driving, but rather is calling on automakers to step up voluntary efforts to combat risks with new technologies and education. LaHood, who's made distracted driving a top automotive safety priority of the Obama administration, said he's met with the CEOs of numerous automakers and feels confident "they're committed to safety." He even praised Subaru of America for a TV ad that highlighted the dangers of driver distraction. The commercial featured a father talking to his teenage daughter about the risks of using a cell phone while on the road.
