This is a Jeep/Chrysler 242/4.0 liter longblock. It is a direct replacement for all 242/4.0 liter applications, please advise of year and vin number when ordering.
All motors are professionally built and machined in our facility. Rebuilding engines is our profession, not just a hobby! All longblocks have the following work done: Hot tanked Magnafluxed Bored on a Kwik-Way FN Honed on Sunnen equipment with Sunnen stones All rods are resized using Sunnen equipment All cranks are ground and polished Three angle valve job Heads are resurfaced The following parts are replaced: Main Bearings-Clevite Rod bearings-Clevite Cam bearings-Durabond Pistons-Sealed Power Rings-Hastings Oil Pump-Melling Camshaft-Melling Lifters-Sealed Power Timing Set-Melling Brass freeze plugs All longblocks include a complete Fel-Pro gasket set and Melling oil pump to complete the installation. All motors are painted using the high-temp engine enamel and can be painted any color! This as close to a custom built engine you'll ever find! We can also build motors to your specifications; please inquire! These motors are sold on an exchange basis. There is a $500 core deposit that is billed at the time of order and refunded upon receipt of your rebuildable core. All of our longblocks carry a 5 year unlimited mileage warranty. The standard Ghost sedan wasn't exactly short on power until the announcement of the V-Specification version -- the company's 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine produces 563-hp and 575 lb-ft of stump-pulling torque in standard form. Yes, gone are the days when Rolls-Royce declined to disclose exact power figures and simply listed their powerplants' output as "adequate."
