Ford Racing offers B-Spec kit for the Fiesta
Mon, 12 Mar 2012While a B-Spec Ford Fiesta might seem like unsalted mashed potatoes compared with Ken Block's Hybrid-Function Hoon Vehicle variant, the basic car is plenty of fun when equipped with a manual transmission and shod with some good summer rubber. As such, Ford Racing is offering a kit to convert a showroom-fresh Fiesta hatch into an affordable racer eligible for SCCA, Grand-Am and World Challenge B-spec competition. The main mod involved is a coil-over suspension kit.
Porsche 911 Targa revealed at 2014 Detroit Motor Show
Mon, 13 Jan 2014Porsche has revealed an amazing retro-inspired new 911 Targa at the Detroit Motor Show – an open-top model that boasts a ‘wide bar’ look almost identical to the Targa style that went out of production two decades ago. First introduced back in the 1960s, Porsche’s return to the original Targa style has been combined with modern electrically-opening roof technology… and with models arriving in showrooms from this May, it’ll be an on-road retro reality before you know it.
Aston Martin V12 Zagato confirmed for limited production
Sat, 02 Jul 2011Aston Martin V12 Zagato confirmed for production It didn’t take a genius to work out that the Aston Martin V12 Zagato would not just be incarnated as the Zig and Zag cars for the Nurburgring, but as a proper production car. Not a production car in the true sense, but a limited edition car much like the Aston Martin Zagato’s gone by. In fact we reported some time ago that we expected the V12 Zagato to start a limited production run of either 89 or 99 cars as soon as the Aston Martin One-77 ends production, and that the target price would be in the £300-350k range.
