Condition:Used

This is a DANA SPICER brand set of 4.88 gears for a Dana 30 axle for a Jeep CJ5, CJ7 or similar.  These gears will not fit the JEEP YJ, TJ or JK Wranlgers, nor the Cherokees.  These are for the CJ era jeeps only.  These gears were bought new and were installed in the front of my jeep.  I used them for about 5 years, but as fronts they saw very little use compared to a rear set.  The Jeep had 33's on it at the time.  The gears are in great shape with no wear, pitting, chips or surface rust.  Just a little dust from sitting on my shelf for a few years.  Also with the gears you get a 1350 yoke and the bearings.  The bearings are in god shape but I do not guarantee them. They show no signs of damage, and I think they can be reused with a good cleaning, again a little dusty.

Expert: Fisker Karma's engine packaging, not batteries, likely caused fire

Fri, 11 May 2012

A garage fire last week in suburban Houston has been linked to a Fisker Karma plug-in hybrid, but the company quickly noted that the battery remained intact and unplugged -- and did not appear to be the cause. But if not the battery, then what? More likely, poor packaging in the engine compartment and exhaust routing generated excess heat.

Pinto owners are driving from Denver to the Carlisle Ford Nationals in Pennsylvania this week, a journey of approximately 1,600 miles. Leading the caravan are Norman and Louise Bagi in their 1976 Pinto Runabout and 1977 Pinto coupe, respectively.
