This a very nice set of original Kaiser Jeep hubcaps that will fit a variety of vehicles ranging from the Wagoneers and J Trucks to the Jeepster and CJ 5 from the mid sixties into the early seventies. They are entirely original and have not been repainted, touched up or modified in any way.

They are very nice, but they are not perfect. There are little dings, dents and scuffs here and there but nothing major. These would be right at home on a fantastic survivor or even a good restoration. They would need attention, though, before they could be considered "Concours" quality, but none the less, these are very nice.

I rotated the hubcaps in 90 degree increments to help you decipher what are reflections and what are not. As I look at the photos I notice that the reflections look alot like flaws. Make no mistake, these are not perfect, however most of what you are seeing, if you look closely, you will realize are wrinkles in the backdrop, reflected off of the hubcaps surface. These really are in pretty good condition.

Hyundai makes Kia’s Peter Schreyer Hyundai design guru too

The newly appointed Kia President, Peter Schreyer, has now been made Hyundai President in charge of design too. Peter Schreyer’s success in making Kia a real design force led to him being appointed a Kia President at the end of 2012, handsome reward for the changes he’s wrought at Kia since leaving VW, turning Kia’s range of cars from stodgy to convincing in a few short years. But Kia is the junior partner in the Hyundai-Kia business, so Hyundai are obviously not totally thrilled that Kia managed to snaffle a designer who’s eye manages to so convincingly hit the Zeitgeist firmly on the head.

The new JCW takes the larger, third-gen Mini three-door, which was revealed at Oxford last month, and gives it a triple nostrilled front bumper, red bodywork accents and myriad (doubtless superficial) vents for a racier look than its predecessor. FOUR-WHEEL-DRIVE cars are soaring on the used car market, according to car auction house British Car Auctions (BCA). Off-roader values rose by up to 16% in October as the first signs of winter emerged. With some medium-term weather forecasts highlighting a colder-than-average winter, BCA is predicting that 4x4 prices may keep rising.
