Stinger Stuns At Detroit Motor Show

KIA has surprised the assembled crowds at the Detroit motor show with a stunning sports car concept, the GT4 Stinger. The Korean car company isn’t holding back with its new creation, as the low-slung coupe boasts rear-wheel drive, a 315 horsepower version of its current 2.0-litre turbo petrol motor and dramatic looks. 2013 Nissan Juke priced at $19,990

Nissan announced pricing for the 2013 Juke crossover on Wednesday. The base Juke S with a CVT will come in at $19,990, not including destination, while the all-wheel drive Juke SL starts at $26,650. The body remains the same for 2013, but the car's looks can be enhanced with a Midnight Edition package, which features 17-inch black wheels, a black roof spoiler and black rearview mirror caps.

Keyless ignition trends toward standardization

A federal plan to require automakers to standardize keyless ignition systems in the wake of Toyota's unintended acceleration problems is likely to mirror industry guidelines issued in January, an automaker group said. Large automakers except Toyota said they already comply with the guidelines crafted by SAE International or plan to do so. These "recommended practices'' seek to counter the variation, driver confusion and safety problems that have ensued since automakers started installing push-button ignition in luxury models.
