New Old Stock Trico S-583-1 Wiper Motor. Factory for G-503 Jeeps, Weapons Carriers and many other WWII Vehicles.

1944 Patd. Date.

This was a production line sample from Trico. If you look on G503.com at the NOS Wiper kit they show this motor came from the same drawer, my dad bought Trico's back stock in the late 1980's. We got the left overs as well as the archive of original parts. That kit came from us, it is my dads handwriting that says Jeep right over the G-503 tag. In the 1980's Jeep motors were not the commodity they are today.

My hope was to clean and rebuild this unit keeping the original OD intact, this was not to be. My cleaner took off too much of the paint so I decided to strip it down and leave it to the customer to paint them whatever shade of OD they needed.

I have professionally (I am the worlds expert on these) rebuilt this unit with NOS Trico parts. 7/2016. It runs great!!! 5 year warranty. Rebuilt using all original Trico parts and I will say it again, 5 year warranty, try to find a wiper motor with a 5 year warranty elsewhere!

Bench Tested, running great.

These are getting hard to get in useable condition. Get them while you can.

A note on Patent areas/numbers:
I have added a photo showing some of the variations in these numbers (not included in the auction). It is important to remember that S-583-1 is correct for G503 but is actually the "U.S. Army Universal Open Model" it used on many, many other WWII vehicles. Notice the brown North Africa paint on the one top. So only an early, round (as it relates to WWII) vehicle would have had a round area. My knowledge of these motors comes from 30+ years of work on nothing but Trico vacuum wipers. My dad bought Trico's back stock and museum/archive. I spent my youth pouring through drawers of Trico factory samples. I have rebuilt a good thousand plus of Jeep vacuum wiper motors.

30+ Years of Experience with nothing but Trico Wipers!

Nissan Esflow electric concept car (2011) at 2011 Geneva motor show

Wed, 09 Feb 2011

Nissan may be all goody two shoes with the Leaf electric car - but this new Esflow concept car is designed to prove to the world that Nissan can make EVs exciting too. The new Nissan Esflow will be shown at the 2011 Geneva motor show. It's essentially a rebodied Leaf, using that car's battery know-how wrapped in a dramatic sports coupe body.

Fiat Qubo gets eco:Drive

Tue, 14 Jul 2009

the Fiat Qubo is now being fitted with eco:Drive - Fiat's economy driving monitor But as all things ‘Eco’ are the name of the game at the moment (which we’re all in favour of – just don’t use ‘Man-Made Climate Change’ as the reason) Fiat are bolting on their eco:Drive system to the Qubo – but don’t worry it will shove the price up if you’re thinking of getting one – it’s a freebie. The Fiat eco-Drive started out with a launch on the Fiat 500 earlier in the year, and is now available on not just the 500, but the Grand Punto and the Bravo. Basically, it’s a USB stick that you plug in to the car which can then be read by software to tell you how badly you’re driving.
