You are bidding on a set of 1” seat risers normally for people 6 feet tall and above.  Please see the below chart for your sizing.  Refer to the “see other items” link under Seller Info for other seat riser sizes available, as 1½” and 2” Kits are also available in separate listings.

These kits raise both front seats in ALL 1997 to 2006 TJ style Jeep Wranglers including X, Sport, Sahara, Rubicon, Unlimited and all variants.

We are relatively new to eBay sales however the Buchanan Precision Machine seat riser kit is the original product of this type and has been in continuous production since 1998.  We have over 9,000 sales, along with magazine articles, website endorsements, and literally thousands of satisfied customers to prove it.  We offer the highest quality kit available, bar none, simply because we INVENTED IT!

Virtually anyone can benefit from the installation of our Jeep seat lift kits, as the seats in TJ Wranglers have been considered low since their introduction in 1997.  The seats were lowered an additional 1.5” in 2003, and necessitated raising the seats for shorter people to be able to drive safely.  The Seat Riser kit improves visibility over the dash, and makes it easier to see the end of the hood and front fenders, and facilitates easier negotiation of obstacles by decreasing the amount of area in front of your vehicle that you can’t see.  The product generally improves comfort in the Jeep by making it so you don’t have to lift your head constantly to see over the hood.  If you are leaning forward or raising your head to see out of the Jeep, you really need this product.  Also if your thighs are off the seat bottom, seat risers will take up the slack and improve your seating comfort.  If you have a dash bar installed in your roll cage they are an absolute must have, no matter how tall you are.

Seat Riser kits are available in 1", 1 ½", and 2" lifts. Each kit consists of 8 ea. Black Anodized Aluminum Blocks, 8 ea. Grade 8/G10.9 Bolts, Washers, and instructions. The installation takes about 10-15 minutes per seat, with common hand tools. One kit elevates both seats. 1" kits are for people 6' and above, 1.5" is for 5'8"-9" and above, and 2" kits are for people who are 5'6" and below.

Note: These size ranges are very accurate, and fit the vast majority of customers well. If you are built a little differently than "most", we will adjust the sizing accordingly.

We do not mix kit sizes, or sell partial kits.

Please do not be fooled by cheap plastic imitations, or guys on the forums telling you to use less than grade 8 hardware, washers, body mount bushings, hockey pucks, or those infamous “transfer case drop spacers” that "everyone" has laying around their garage. All of these have serious drawbacks.  Solid metal and grade 8 hardware are the only materials suitable for this application.

Do it right the first time and forget about it!

Buchanan Precision Machine is the Inventor of the Seat Riser Kit for TJ style Jeeps, and we have BY FAR THE HIGHEST QUALITY product.  We also have the most experience fitting the product.  We actually care about your safety, and offer a money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied.

Price for all kits is $64.95 + $10.00 S&H, total $74.95. California residents are subject to 7.50% sales tax (as of January 2013) total $79.82. We prefer payment by Paypal, but will accept Visa, MasterCard, or Discover Card by phone only.  All kits are shipped within 24 hours by USPS Priority Mail (excluding Sunday and holidays), and usually arrive 2-3 days after we mail them.  Please email us for pricing of shipments outside the U.S.

For more information on this product, please click on the About Me link.

There are links to write-ups that show complete installation of the seat riser kit, and tell you what you can expect as far as performance from several different viewpoints, and several different heights, from 5"4" to 6'4". There is also a very good two-page article with pictures in the November 2006 issue of 4x4 Builder Magazine.

Don’t be fooled by the imitations, they are imitations for a reason… because they are rip-offs of this product!  $65 bucks ain’t that much for the best quality product out there, and the price hasn’t changed since they came out in 1998.

This is the best thing you can do to a TJ for under $100, bar none!

This seat riser kit will not fit other automobile Makes, Models, or other Jeep Years not detailed in this listing.  This kit is not universal.

We do not manufacture seat riser kits for other automobile Makes or Models.  Due to the vast differences in seat mounting systems, there is no way for us to know what kind of mounting system other vehicles have, or what would fit.

This kit is designed only for the front seats.  It cannot be used for the rear seats.  The rear seats require completely different mounting blocks and hardware.  We do not manufacture risers for the rear seats.

Thank you for looking!
