Jeep XJ Rear Shock Relocation

Vehicle fit: 84-01 Jeep Cherokee XJ

Tired of your rear factory shock mounts dragging the rocks? These new lower shock mounts were designed to raise the shock mount a full 3" on an XJ. The new lower mount is relocated even with the bottom of the axle tube, thus drastically increasing ground clearance. This weld on bracket is made from 3/16" steel and includes a new shock stud that will mate with any standard 5/8" ID shock bushing. Although designed for the XJ, this weld on shock mount can be used for any custom application with a tube diameter ranging from 2-1/2" to 3-1/2".

We only ship to the continental United States.

This DOES NOT include Alaska, Hawaii, Guam and Puerto Rico.

Most items shipped within 5 days.

Wed, 25 Sep 2013

The Scottish government is aiming to ban all petrol and diesel cars from towns, cities and other communities by 2050. This is according to a new “Switched On Scotland” document, intended to serve as a ‘roadmap’ towards the future that encourages businesses and private motorists to swap to electric vehicles (EVs). On Bing: see pictures of electric vehicles Find out how much a used electric vehicle costs on Auto Trader The government will put its money where it’s mouth is here, by spending over £14 million in the next two years to purchase EVs in replacement of its current petrol and diesel fleet, and installing charging points at major buildings.

Canada urged to adopt European car safety standards

Mon, 23 Dec 2013

CANADA has been urged to adopt European standards for new vehicle safety by the president of Mercedes-Benz Canada. Tim Reuss told reporters that if EU rules, which apply to all cars built by European industrial powerhouses like Mercedes and the Volkswagen Group, were in place Canada would already have new, more efficient, safer cars. At present Mercedes cannot import the A-Class because of the expense associated with modifying it to conform to Canadian safety requirements, and Mr Reuss argues that the current approach lacks common sense.
