Up for sale is a nice used pair of Jeep YJ / CJ hard door striker plates.

These plates hold the door pin in place allowing the hard doors to latch.

This pair came off a 91 YJ Wrangler.

They will work as a set on your  87-95 Wranglers and 76-86 CJ7 and CJ8 Scramblers.

Older CJ's 76-81 I believe may need some alteration to use these and they will only work if your hard doors have been upgraded to the paddle style doors.

Free shipping in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Will ship the next day after you pay!

Message me with questions or you can contact us at facebook.com/mrcjsjeepparts

I will ship this international but i do not guarantee international delivery. This means that you take the risk if the part does not show up!  Approximately 97% of my international shipments have no issues. We will pack them well and ship them timely but we will not refund money if an international shipment does not show up.

*Thanks for checking out my items. Please take a look at my policies below before bidding.

*Please, please do not leave neutral or negative feedback without contacting me first. Your feedback is very important and I will do everything I can to fix any problems.

*Most of my parts are used! In fact most are between 15 and 30 years old. Do not confuse these with new parts. I try very hard to describe them accurately but you can expect to find dirt and scratches and wear on pretty much any used part! Please read the description carefully. I sell every part of the jeeps I dismantle that might be useable. I am well aware that we do not all drive show Jeeps. What looks like junk to one may be a fixable/ useable part to someone’s trail rig! This means that parts can be rusted or even partially broken. If this is the case it will be listed in the description.

*I do not clean these parts!!!!! My parts are sold “as is” and as removed! If they were covered in grease when removed that is how they will arrive. I could not sell these parts at the price you are buying it, if I took the time to clean each part. There are no warranties expressed or implied!

Free shipping does not apply to Hawaii or Alaska

Most of my items ship one business day after you pay. If one day shipping is listed and you pay on Friday your item will not ship until Monday.

On some large, bulky or heavy items 3 day shipping will be listed in the ad. Again this is three business days from when you pay for the item. Saturday and Sunday are not business days!

In order to keep your cost down I use “recycled” boxes. All of my items are packaged well but not always pretty. This helps keep your cost down! I do not set the cost to ship items via UPS or USPS. I do everything I can to keep those cost down. Please do not give me bad feedback because of shipping expenses. I have no control over them and they are always listed up front before you bid!

*I will ship items to just about any country. That being said some large and heavy items can not be shipped. If no cost is listed for international, request a shipping quote. If you live in Canada or Mexico request a shipping quote. I can often ship things for less then what is listed for other countries.

Thanks for bidding!

Mercury dies off, Lincoln to benefit

Thu, 03 Jun 2010

Ford's brand portfolio is set to get smaller by the end of the year. Following the sale of Aston Martin, Land Rover, Jaguar and most recently Volvo (to Chinese automaker Geely), the Blue Oval has now announced the demise of its 'middle of the range' Mercury brand, with production of the last vehicles set to cease at the end of 2010. In a statement released to media, Ford announced that the shuttering of the 71-year old Mercury brand was in the interest of focusing on Lincoln, the automaker's only remaining premium brand.

Mon, 23 Nov 2009

The new 2010 / 2011 BMW 5 Series It’s been coming for a long time – the 2010/2011 BMW 5 Series – and just last week we had a picture of the new 5 Series from a German magazine. But now BMW has finally gone official and revealed all the goodies on their mid-size saloon of the future – the 2010 BMW 5 Series or, if you’re in the US, the 2011 BMW 5 Series. The new 5 Series migrates to the same underpinnings as the new 5 Series GT and 7 Series – and for that matter the Rolls Royce Ghost – which means this new 5 Series loses the traditional suspension struts and gets a multi-link arrangement all round.
