This is a French Jet Turbine Engine from a military helicopter made in 1981.

My son is a jet engine aircraft mechanic in the US Air Force and we acquired it do to a father / son project. I had a stroke in November and am not up to going through with it and want to sell it as is!

We don't know the condition other than from all outward appearances it looks really clean, the turbine spins freely, and I'm told it's rebuildable if need be as it's 98% there!

This would be a great re-power project for a high speed boat, or jet turbine powered generator. There are also YouTube videos showing these being used to power cars, trucks, and go carts.

The engine dimensions without the gear reduction unit has an approximate diameter of 16" and is 40" long.  Buyer to arrange shipping.  The engine is crated on an original engine stand and ready for pickup. Weighs approximately 400 lbs with crate and stand.
