A look at Toyota future products

Toyota has slipped behind competitors in drivetrain technology and now must play catch-up against the likes of Ford, Hyundai and Mazda. Much of Toyota's lag stems from engineering resources being diverted by the unintended acceleration crisis and other quality miscues in the past two years. Now expect Toyota to focus more on turbocharging and direct injection, and it may even bring a couple of diesels to the United States as part of midcycle changes.

Toyota FT-86 Concept, the Frankfurt teaser video

Toyota will show an updated FT-86 concept car at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show starting next week. It's issued this teaser video showing a few snatchshots of the new rear-wheel drive sports car. Don't hold your horses, though.

Lexus GS F Sport (2012) first official pictures

Hot on the heels of the all-new Lexus GS revealed in August 2011, the Japanese luxury brand has revealed the mildly heated-up F Sport version, ahead of its official unveiling at the Sema show in Las Vegas on 1 November 2011.
