Called the Cosworth Impreza STI CS400, Subaru promises its four-wheel drive hot hatch will have ‘supercar-humbling pace’ and, presumably, be quick enough to match the Mitsubishi Evo X FQ-400 too. Near enough – this Cosworth-tweaked Impreza has 400PS.
Detroit Electric reboots for Shanghai auto show

The company says it will reveal its first electric sports car -- based on the Lotus Elise -- at the Shanghai Motor Show in April, and begin selling in limited markets by August. And now we have a little more on the VXR – and some photos – although Vauxhall hasn’t put a price on the Astra VXR yet. The Astra VXR is based on the underpinnings of the Astra GTC – which Vauxhall managed to reveal at least three times before it finally went on sale – so it has two doors, a longer wheelbase and a wider track than its five-door rep-mobile sibling.
