But don’t quote us on that. If Mazda gets big positive feedback they’ll probably turn it in to a production model despite their assertions it’s just a concept.
CES: GM to open the dashboard to developers

The latest announcements from Ford and GM -- in conjunction with the International CES -- suggest that automakers would rather treat the dashboard space as a handset. Yesterday, Dearborn, Mich., announced the Ford Developer Program, which opens up Sync to outside application development; now General Motors has announced a similar initiative.
General Motors says its EN-V concept might be tested in large cities

The EN-V will wear the Chevrolet badge. It is designed to communicate with other vehicle and city infrastructure to minimize congestion.
