Up for auction is one set of two (2) NOS (New Old Stock) ski leave spring saddles for the 1974 JD 295/s and 76-78 Liquifire and Cyclone John Deere snowmobiles. Saddle was also used on later model 300's. Shipped by USPS, Priority Mail, with confimation. I will be happy to combine shipping when possible. It was laughable (we can say that because, thankfully, we always rubbished the idea) to think BMW would waste an iconic moniker on a baby ‘M’ car. Well’ they’ve made the car but they haven’t wasted the moniker - it’s the BMW 1 Series M Coupe.

But ahead of that debut – and, it would seem, a reveal in 41 days time at the first LA press day – Porsche has launched a new microsite for the Macan to tease and inform Porsche fans and potential buyers. What Porsche are at pains to point out is that the Macan isn’t a compact SUV but a five door, five seat Sports Car that just happens to have a raised ride height.

Thu, 20 Oct 2011In contrast to the Rennsport Reunion's raucous goings on at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, the Race Car Classic at the Quail Lodge took a more serene approach in presenting the first few decades of Porsche racing. It was almost too serene, as the field of roughly 200 cars draped in loose silk car covers that greeted the crowd gave the impression of burying Porsches, not praising them. But things perked up with a group unveiling that revealed an outstanding collection of rare and unique racers, including many from the Porsche Museum and the Collier collection.
