Good used stator from a Johnson 1972 50hp 2 cyl 50ESL72C.  Look at the pictures to see exactly what you are getting. I am selling another one in a separate listing.  Other part numbers 580809, 0580809, 0581232, 581232, 0775530, 173-1232, 775530. charging coils built in, came from an electric start motor. My problem was the starter. If you don't have spark, try a new starter first! The motor needs to spin pretty fast.

See my other listings for the pickup sensor coil,  timer base, stators w/ charging coils,  gap setting tool, another power pack with bracket and harness, and other misc. items.  This all came from a 1972 Johnson 50hp Model 50esl72c

BMW 7-series hybrid due in 2009

Mon, 07 Jul 2008

By Nick Gibbs Motor Industry 07 July 2008 14:30 BMW will launch a hybrid petrol version of the newly unveiled 7-series in 2009, but admits it’s more for green-leaning V8 addicts than seriously eco-aware bosses. Even with the latest lithium-ion batteries, the forthcoming 4.4-litre V8 petrol-electric version will struggle to match the astonishing 39.2mpg and 192g/km of CO2 of the new six-cylinder diesel, especially when BMW will launch stop-start technology for the whole range within two years. The hybrid is likely to cost several thousand more than the £65,000 it’s estimated you’ll need to buy the regular, twin-turbo 750i that goes on sale in November 2008.

General Motors said 6,348 consumers have taken the extended-range car for a spin during a 12-city “Volt Unplugged Tour,” and not surprisingly, GM's reviewers like it. Still, initial feedback does appear to be truly positive.
