Up for grabs, I have a powerhead and mid-section from a 1982 50 HP Evinrude outboard. The powerhead has good compression on both cylinders. The compression readings are approximately 137 PSI on cylinder 1 and 130 PSI on Cylinder 2. Several of the lower unit bolts snapped (as seen in the last picture). The swivel tube in the midsection is a little stiff but does turn back and forth. I believe this motor had some saltwater use as it was a bit difficult to work on. I will ship this on a pallet. BMW and Toyota plan engine-swap deal, reports say

Set to be made public at the Tokyo motor show this week, the cooperation is said to center on BMW supplying Toyota with four- and six-cylinder common-rail diesel engines for use in a wide range of models. In return, Toyota plans to provide BMW with technology used to combine combustion engines and electric motors in various hybrid applications.

It turned up Geneva, at Villa D’Este in the summer and the One-77 was also to be seen at Salon Prive in July where our leader spent time checking it out together with celebrity petrol-head JK. But it’s gone a bit quiet on the One-77 front lately as Aston Martin work to iron out the wrinkles before the One-77 starts to hit the roads in the Summer.
